Bedford, VA Center Fest
The Centertown Bedford Festival located in Bedford , VA is always a delight. Every year it is held in September and is a great ‘last hurrah’ before the start of a new school year. Located on Bridge Street and Main Street in the little town of Bedford, VA, near 460. The streets are closed down and room is made for the many crafts and art products for sale.
I’m eagerly awaiting this years Center Fest and have invited my family from the Northern states to come and visit during that time. There seems to be something for everyone: crafts and accessories for me, a smörgåsbord of food for my husband, and lots of entertainment for the kids.
We have such a good time and end up staying for the whole day. For more information on dates and times contact the Bedford Welcome Center. I highly recommend this event and give two thumbs up for the Center Fest and Downtown Bedford for putting on such a wonderful affair.
One of the Virginia’s largest outdoor street festivals! Bedford’s Centerfest offers a wide variety of activities to please the young and old alike. Nearly 100 Artisans and crafts people from around the state display their works. Similar to market fairs of years past. Live music of many types on five stages throughout the day. Children’s activities abound, and local organizations share useful information with visitors. A large and very eclectic assortment of foods is sure to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. Featuring Art Shows, a Safety Fair, and a Car and Motorcycle Show. Service animals only. No pets please..
